The Team

“Our family was referred to the Saunders Rodgers Golf Academy a year and a half ago. Since that time we have watched our son Kaleb grow as a golfer. We originally started at the academy with Scott Rodgers as Kaleb’s mental game coach and very quickly realized the benefits the academy had to offer. Now Kaleb receives all of his golf coaching here spending time with Scott on the course, in the putting studio and on the range. From monthly planning and weekly coaching sessions to after tournament replay and Skype sessions we know Kaleb is receiving the best coaching possible. These coaches work from a family team approach which helps keep the support strong and the family involved. Both Scott and Brett spend time working with Kaleb to help him achieve his dream. We have referred many friends and people we have met on the course here and will continue to do so in the years to come!”

“One of the best qualities of Brett is his adaptability. I’d be the first to tell anybody that I am hard to coach; I’m stubborn and very hard to convince. Brett was still able to work with me by taking a team approach, which is probably the only way it could work. The ideas he has for my game specifically are different than something he might teach to somebody else. This is a quality that many teachers don’t have. Others teach their way only. Brett adapts. In addition, he is very personable making it much easier to get things done. I would consider him a friend before a golf coach.”

“I began working with Scott Rodgers almost two years ago. Not only has he helped with technical aspects of my putting stroke but he has shown me how to successfully think on a golf course, and more specifically on the putting green. His teaching techniques are easily conveyed through his forward and honest personality, making the student understand exactly what they should, while in an enjoyable fashion. Anyone looking to improve what is argued as the most important part of the game along with learning how to think properly on the course need not look any further but Scott Rodgers and the Saunders Rodgers Performance Golf Academy.”

“If you are tired of searching for the perfect golf instructor, Brett Saunders might be your final destination. Such was my case; after three years of playing golf and trying out two different instructors, I finally met a pro who helped me balance out my game. When I started to get lessons from Brett, I knew I was in the right place. Brett knows golf from A to Z, long game to short game. Brett understands everybody has different style, and he teaches the best way that will maximize the performance of each player. Brett’s deep knowledge about golf and all the golf related information will help you as a player. He is especially helpful for those who are thinking about playing college golf or even professional golf. Plus, I guarantee you, the lessons are not boring like others, he is very easy-going and funny but serious when he needs to be with players. Brett will not only be your instructor, but a friend and advisor who can listen to you and help you to get through your tough times. My suggestion is to give it a try, all the words I said about him will not be important as your own experience with Brett Saunders.”

“I began working with Brett Saunders and I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. Both his mechanical and psychological knowledge concerning all facets of the game of golf is extensive. In teaching, Brett manages to incorporate all aspects of his knowledge to help me work on my ever changing and evolving game. He has a clear vision as to the direction he wants to take to produce results and to help me to achieve the goals I have set for myself. All the time I have spent with him is productive and valuable to me as we work together towards achieving those goals and results. Brett never ceases to amaze me with regards to the fact that every time I see him I learn something new. It is clear that he puts his heart and soul into his work and truly wants to see you achieve. It is that heart, desire, and faith in me that make me want to work just as hard for him as he does for me. I am confident that anyone who works with Brett Saunders can expect improvement and enhancement to one’s game.”

“Once I started working with Brett, my golf swing has improved significantly as many of my bad habits had disappeared on my swing video. Although the tournament season has not yet started and I’ve only played two tournaments in the last few months, I am feeling confident that I will play much more consistently with my new swing this year. In fact I broke the course record in an AJGA event just two weeks after my first lesson with Brett and made the cut for my very first time in a professional tour event 2 months afterwards.

I think Brett is not only a great golf instructor but also has a great personality. His sense of humor always makes people feel relaxed around him. And his students always enjoy their lessons with him. This is why many of Brett’s students would hang around and practice on his teaching facility after their lessons until dark.”
